There are many theories and schools of thought on what mindfulness means. Meditation for
an example has been described by some as emptying the mind, and others as a filling of the mind.
Sometimes language and labels can skew understanding and even prevent some from the gift
of meditation that brings greater measures of health to the brain and mind. Gen-Rev is very
clear on this topic and the transformative power of a healthy mind-body-spirit connection. We
believe that it is the filling of the mind by the Word and Presence of God that brings the
greatest healing and freedom. Our team is ready and willing to journey with you in this life-
giving area for tremendous healing and growth.
Neuroscience has shown us that the brain has neuroplasticity. Science proved a reality that
Scripture had revealed. Your mind can be healed, renewed, rewired, and regenerated. Old
patterns can be torn down and new neurological pathways can be formed. There are many
ways to renew the mind; meditation and prayer are powerful ways.
“Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your
mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—His good, pleasing, and
perfect will.” (Romans 12:2)
Being intentional with mindsets, aligning those mindsets to the truth, and increasing awareness
and care of our thought life alters courses of action and alters the state of our health. “As a
man thinks, so he is.”(Proverbs 23:7)
You don’t have to venture into this realm alone. Isolation can be a dangerous place for the
mind and is very different from refreshing times of stillness and solitude. Inviting trusted
community and your healing team into the areas of need for mental and emotional health fuels
the prosperous soul. Gen-Rev is willing and able to come alongside you for healing and growth
for your mental and emotional health needs.
